On Monday 9th October 2023 Cotswold Airport welcomed the arrival of JetMagic Boeing 757-200 9H-AVM for ongoing storage, the 34 year old twin engine jet arrived after a short flight from London Luton. A few days prior to its arrival at Cotswold Airport the aircraft was operating a flight around and back from Brazil in South America.
The Boeing 757 currently registered 9H-AZM has had a long career starting life with Ansett Worldwide, Petrolair, Privatair before joining the JetMagic fleet. The aircraft has provided private charter including being the world tour aircraft for group U2 in 2017 and 2019.
Initially thought to be arriving for the scrap man, we understand the aircraft will be stored and possibly carry out charter flights from Cotswold Airport, this will make some interesting photos for local aviation enthusiasts!
