Preparation and Cooking Time
1 pound ground beef, diced
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 cup macaroni noodles, uncooked
1 green bell pepper, diced
1½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can petite diced tomatoes
½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1½ teaspoon garlic, minced
In a large pot, heat olive over medium-high heat. Stir in onions, green pepper, and ground beef, and cook for about 10 minutes or until the veggies are soft and the beef is no longer pink.
Drain any excess fat and place back the pot on the stovetop. Stir in garlic and cook for about 25-30 seconds or until aromatic.
Add in the diced tomato, tomato sauce, beef stock, Italian seasoning, seasoned salt, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, and macaroni noodles. Mix to combine and bring to a boil.
Turn down the heat and stir from time to time for 18-20 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
Take out the bay leaves and add the cheese, then stir to combine and remove from the heat. Serve and enjoy!
1. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days and in the freezer for up to 3 months.
2. If you like your goulash a lot more flavorful, use fresh herbs, and if you like a soothing flavor, without sharpness use dried herbs.
