The 10 athletes from British Columbia include:

- Madelyn Vandermeer (Rowing)
- Dallen Brereton-Stiles (BMX)
Qualifying at the Victoria RBC Training Ground event:
- Justine Blatt-Janmaat (Rugby)
- Braeden Bossert (Sport Climbing)
- Luka Markon (Mountain Biking)
These athletes will benefit from RBC Training Ground’s commitment to supporting their journeys on and off the field of play. The program provides funding, mentorship from RBC Olympians, access to elite coaching, and RBC financial literacy resources. This holistic support system is designed to help these athletes elevate their training, navigate their careers, and grow as individuals.
CSI Pacific is proud to partner with RBC Training Ground, serving as the official delivery partner for the program in British Columbia. Through initiatives like PODIUM SEARCH™, which acts as a regional qualifier, and leadership roles like those held by Andrew Latham, our Manager of Performance Pathways, CSI Pacific provides expertise in athlete identification and access to world-class facilities. This collaboration ensures we support the discovery and development of Canada’s future Olympians.
“These ten incredible athletes from British Columbia exemplify the potential we strive to identify and support through RBC Training Ground,” said [Andrew Latham, Manager, Performance Pathways, Canadian Sport Institute Pacific]. “We are thrilled RBC Training Ground is investing in their futures and empowering them as they pursue their Olympic dreams. We are also very excited and looking forward to the 2025 events happening in Kelowna, Richmond and Victoria.”
RBC Training Ground continues to be a driving force in the development of Canada’s Olympic talent pipeline. Since its inception in 2016, the program has tested thousands of athletes across the country and has contributed to the success of nearly two dozen Olympians who have gone on to compete at Olympic Games.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that the next RBC Training Ground events will take place in 2025 in Kelowna, Richmond, and Victoria. These locations will give aspiring athletes from British Columbia a unique opportunity to showcase their skills and take the first steps toward their Olympic dreams. We can’t wait to uncover the next generation of Olympians right in our backyard!
