From the look of things, none of the slain soldiers is native to the area. What sort of peace is being imposed on the indigenes of Niger Delta by none indigene soldiers?
Army came for prace talk and settlement because two communities are fighting, and all of a sudden the villagers that had welcomed the army then turned around and start killing the military men, the story do not add up, there are some puzzles missing
If the soldiers came for peace why would the soldiers then asked for some leaders of the community to come along with them? Why would the army barricaded the scene till now?
I want journalists to do there findings very well. Before peace mission is established, to an extend of sending army on that mission, there was suppose to be a very serious problems now the question is what was that serious problem in that community. Now, the president said, go and fish out the people, did the president asked the army to raze the community?. After the first day, why did the military went back to the community for what reason. The military also has a serious faults.
One of the soldiers is a relative to a church member of mine. This killings are not befitting

Reason is this: to use the attack as a reason not to release the young man.

Seun, you are encouraging the massacre of innocent citizens. You should report the truth and you know the truth because you are not a bigot. Can this kind of military operation happen in the North? Don't you and your channel have a duty to citizens instead of encouraging massacre. It's a shame.
We know that a hamlet community like Okuama would not sit down and just orchestrate the killing of military personnel.
Our journalists are failing us, they ought to put pressure on the government to be able to visit this community immediately and collect evidence, find people from those communities and interview them.
We are only hearing the narrative from one side. Totally wrong.
May God console the families of our fallen soldiers. May the service to our Nation not be forgotten.
Both communities should all be investigated. Okuoma Okoloba and the Soldiers should be investigated. It doesn't make any sense killing Soldiers , innocent civilians , and burning a community down. Something is amiss.

How do you want the innocent villagers to cooperate after you've destroyed their homes & probably livelihood??? The Nigerian Army will not allow journalists go into the village to see things for themselves & hear from eyewitnesses. There's no where in Nigeria that you send soldiers that you'll enjoy relative peace because of their high-handedness & barbarity in handling civil situations
When you tell these good for nothing so called leaders they are not capable they will not listen because of what they can steal from the position, just look at the situation of the whole nation. What a shame.

Which state sent them there? How is it that the army will go into communities to settle communal issues, what is the work of the police? What threat does this land dispute pose to the Nigerian state?
Why will a commanding officer go to such a small community to settle a land dispute? These are some of the questions I expect our spineless journalist to ask!
