Democrats are trying to steal an election in Pennsylvania

Two of Bucks County’s three commissioners voted to count ineligible ballots against the advice of the board’s legal team after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court made it clear that those ballots were not to be counted. As Commissioner Diane Marseglia said, “I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country, and people violate laws anytime they want. So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.”

Bucks County and Philadelphia City commissioners have both voted to count these ineligible ballots, indirectly encouraging other Democratic counties and cities to do the same to help try and make up the gap in the state’s Senate race. Centre County and Montgomery County are now doing the same. Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) lost to Republican Dave McCormick but is refusing to concede, instead hiring Democratic election law mercenary Marc Elias, who has a history of trying to overturn fair Democratic losses. Both Casey and Elias are relying on these illegal vote counts to make up the gap and save Casey’s pathetic political career.

Where are the prominent Democrats condemning this blatant attempt to steal an election? Where is Gov. Josh Shapiro, the supposedly “moderate” Democrat who is going to be a front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028? Or Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who has made such a big deal about Republican election denials? Shapiro has been completely silent about Casey’s attempt to steal the election, and Fetterman has actually defended Casey’s refusal to concede as a recount is underway (and ignored the attempt by Democratic county officials to steal the election with ineligible votes).

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) played into this sham by refusing to allow McCormick to come to Senate orientation until reversing himself at the last minute. But Schumer has also been silent about this attempt to steal an election. No Democratic politician who threw fits about Donald Trump calling Republicans to try and reverse the results of the 2020 election is even mildly concerned with Casey trying to steal an election with the help of Democratic commissioners who support him.

Not only are Casey and Pennsylvania Democrats trying to steal an election, but they are setting the groundwork for other politicians to do the same in the future, providing a “justification” that all votes, even ineligible votes, must be counted. This is a bigger threat to democracy than anything the Democratic Party has complained about for the last four years, and yet they are all content to sit by and watch to see if Casey and his fellow election deniers actually succeed.
