The one who loved me

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. — Galatians 2:20

There are many people in life who I can say have loved me. Certainly, the first love I experienced in my life was that of my parents. While I have been far from perfect, they have loved me since I was born. While I may no longer live in their home, they still love me.

I also have experienced the love of my family. My grandparents showed me love throughout my life. I have aunts, uncles, and cousins who have all expressed a form of love toward me. Now, I have my own family who loves me. My wife and my son love me.

As much love as I have experienced in my life, there is no love that compares with the love God had for me. God sent His only son, Jesus, so that I might be forgiven of my sins and have eternal life. He loved me and willingly gave Himself for me.

My life is no longer about me and who I am. But my life is about Him and who He is. No matter how many times I fail Him, He still loves me. He is the one who loved me with a love that is beyond what any other love could do.

If you have accepted Jesus as Savior, rejoice in the one who loved you! But maybe you haven’t experienced that love. Perhaps you wish that you could. Today is a great day to experience that love and accept Jesus as Savior. Find out more about accepting Jesus as Savior and accept Him today!
