Yhwach is the main villain of Bleach‘s Thousand-Year Blood War Arc and is arguably the strongest character in Bleach. He is the son of the Soul King and the wielder of The Almighty – a godly ability which allows him to see into the future and alter it. Takayuki Sugo provides Yhwach’s original Japanese voice, but Richard Epcar is his English voice actor. Epcar has been voice acting since 1985 and has voiced quite a few anime characters over the years.




Richard Epcar has voiced several anime villains, but he has voiced some heroic characters as well. Some of Epcar’s characters play very small roles in their respective series, though he has also voiced some well-known characters from established anime series. Unlike Yhwach, Bendot is an ordinary human, but he was arrested and given a 199-year prison sentence for robbery and murder. He became a taskmaster in the Hunter Exam’s Third Phase in exchange for a reduced sentence. Unfortunately, Bendot never got to fight because Tonpa intentionally sabotaged his team.

Despite his young age and innocent appearance, Killua Zoldyk is a master assassin with great analytical skills, and he determined that Bendot is a former mercenary. He deduced that Bendot is a ruthless hand-to-hand fighter, and that he is proficient with military-grade weapons. Bendot enjoys fighting, but he is not reckless or foolish. When Killua easily kills Johness, a notorious mass murderer, he turns down Killua’s challenge because he knows he cannot win.

Saikhan, on the other hand, is a high-ranking police officer who uses his abilities to help protect the citizens of Republic City.
