Lihaku posing is a surefire case of fan service, but it’s also comedic and fuels the plot, as Jinshi catches Lihaku posing in front of Maomao, and he’s mortified. He thinks that his performance is for Maomao, and while he is no slouch, he isn’t quite as muscular as Lihaku. Lihaku’s muscles and good nature serve him well, in the end, as they help him on his journey to win his lady love’s favor.

Choso Draws Strength from His Purpose
It seems like Gege and the animators took Choso in a bit of a different direction in the Season Two of Jujutsu Kaisen. He, along with Nanami and Gojo, is a great source of female gaze fan service, especially in his fight with Yuji Itadori. In the earlier half of Jujutsu Kaisen, Choso looks more slender and maudlin.
While Choso remains looking maudlin, though the melancholic look absolutely suits him, his battle scene with Itadori showcases his physical strength to a delightfully ridiculous level. Choso’s physical strength has canonical and aesthetic purpose. The more he leans into his life purpose of protecting his brothers, the stronger he gets.
