Trump’s private jet clips unoccupied aircraft after landing in Florida

A private jet clipped an unoccupied plane after landing at a Florida airport on Sunday, and according to multiple reports, it was former President Donald Trump’s aircraft.

A notice from the Federal Aviation Administration, viewed by WFLA, listed the aircraft that clipped the other while taxiing as “N757AF,” a registration number that can be clearly viewed on the side of Trump’s plane. In a statement to the Washington Examiner, the FAA said it was investigating the incident but did not state whether the taxiing jet was Trump’s plane.

“A privately owned Boeing 757 landed safely at West Palm Beach International Airport around 1:20 a.m. local time on Sunday, May 12,” the statement read. “While taxiing, its winglet contacted a parked and unoccupied corporate jet. The incident occurred in an area of the airport where the FAA does not direct aircraft. The FAA is investigating.”

No injuries were reported in the collision, and it is unknown whether Trump was on the jet at the time. The former president held a campaign rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, on Saturday evening.

Following his departure from the White House, Trump’s primary mode of transportation moved from Air Force One to what has been nicknamed Trump Force One, a Boeing 757 bought in 2011.
